  SCORE has been intensively working in WASH sector starting from its presence in the area. Construction and rehabilitation of water supply schemes together with its sustainable management has been major effort in the sector. Capped springs with and without distributions, machine drilled shallow and deep boreholes are existing results of the intervention. The water supply schemes’ construction recently has been integrated with environmental rehabilitation of the upstream of the schemes for sustainability of the sources. In the later years, the organization also started support for construction of household and institutional sanitation facilities and its proper utilization. This has been in partnership with European Union through HORIZONT 3000 and Austrian Development Agency, Water Aid, Misean Cara, DKA Austria, Caritas Austria and sign of Hope Germany.
