As part of livelihood diversification the BICDP has been enhancing livelihood of targeted communities through asset building, input provision and VSLA programs. The provision of bulls is for an existing cooperative groups established by the last project BDRR, on range land management. Accordingly, communities of local cooperatives from Gora in Yabello, Gobso and Dhoqolle in Dubluq were provided with each ten bulls, totally 30 for fattening and later to be resold at improved prices, where the cooperatives are capacitated on capitalizing their finances and transforming their asset holding status to higher and wealthy level.
